The November CBM meeting includes election of church representatives/officials and approval of the coming year’s budget. A carry-in meal will also be part of the November CBM meeting. This meeting provides an important avenue to guide and to celebrate the ministries of the church. Members and friends are encouraged to attend!

During the month of November, the Action Reflection Committee will be holding a non-perishable foods collection for the Brethren Nutrition Program (the soup kitchen) at the Washington City Church of the Brethren. These non-perishable items include: canned meat, peanut butter, jelly (plastic containers), pasta, pasta sauce, rice, cake mix, brownie mix, powdered milk, juice, flour, granola bars, boxed jello, dried fruit, vinegar, baking soda, corn meal, canned fruits (low sugar), canned vegetables (low sodium), canned gravy, spices and raisins. Please do not accidentally donate any expired items. Legally, the soup kitchen cannot use anything that is beyond the expiration date. Donations can be placed in the large blue bin in the Narthex.
