Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner is Back!

After a year hiatus, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” is back.  This event, planned for Saturday, April 18 at 5:30 P.M., will allow you to open your home to other members of the congregation.  Here’s how it works:  you can volunteer to be a host or participate as a guest.  As a host, you will be responsible for preparing the main course and drinks.  Guests will provide side dish, salad, or dessert.  But the fun part is that no one knows who all the guests will be until they arrive that evening.  It is sure to be a night filled with fun and fellowship.  If you would like to participate – and we certainly hope you will – please sign up on the board in the narthex. You can also contact Mary Ellen Judd or Kim Ferrari by April 8.  We will need to know if you want to be a host or a guest, how many you can serve if you are a host, and whether you have any food allergies or concerns so we can inform the host and other guests.  Hope you join in the fun!

Christian Citizenship Seminar – April 18-23

This seminar provides high school students a chance to explore the relationship between faith and a particular political issue and then act from a faith perspective regarding that issue. This year the focus will be on the complexities of U.S. immigration policy, suggested reforms, and consequences of both on immigrant communities. For more information, contact Kristen Hoffman at 847-429-4389 or .

Women’s Support Group

The next meeting will be April 1st from 7:30 to 8:45 pm.  Each month the leader introduces a theme or question and then participants have the opportunity to share personal stories or experiences as they choose. There is also opportunity to share prayer requests and to pray together. If you have questions or would like further information, please contact Shirley Roth or Gretchen Zience.
