Youth Go To South Dakota

Three of our youth and one advisor are planning to participate in the Church of the Brethren Work Camp at the Pine Ridge Reservation in Kyle, South Dakota for a week this summer. Other youth from our congregation have attended this challenging and life changing work camp in the past. The work camp is hosted by a school in the town of Kyle. Even though this work camp interested many of the youth, in order to save expenses, they were trying to find a work camp closer to home. Scheduling due to our different school systems did not allow that. We’re proud of these students that are willing to take the time do this kind of work and go beyond their comfort zone.
