Landscape duties at Oakton Church of the Brethren campus are overseen by the Property Committee and handled entirely by volunteers.* The work is coordinated by Al Zebrowski, Shanna Spangler, and John Shafer as a labor of love. Over the years the Oakton Church campus has been transformed into the beautiful setting we now have.
Plantings have been carefully selected so that beautiful flowers can be seen almost year round. The campus is especially beautiful in the springtime when it is not unusual to have visitors stop to take pictures or sit on the Maxine Thompson Memorial bench and enjoy the scenery.
